ARFL Crab Battle

Atlantic Renaissance Fencing League CRAB BATTLE!
The Atlantic Renaissance Fencing League is putting on a Crab Battle (2 day event) on January 16th and 17th 2027. The weapons to be featured will be:
Saturday
- Longsword
- Sidesword and Buckler
Sunday
- Rapier
- Sidesword
- Sword and Targe/Rotella
This is a friendly tournament aimed primarily at HEMA fencers in the DC-Baltimore area, though fighters from anywhere are welcome to attend.
Registration is limited to 28 entrants for each tournament, excepting Longsword and Sword and Targe which have caps of 42 and 12 respectivley. The event will be hosted January 16th and 17th, at Top Tier Columbia in Columbia, MD. Check in begins at 9am for with pools beginning at 9:30 am.
Previous volunteers get priority registration for future events and payment for their time! If you'd like to be considered to volunteer, please email us at arfl.hema@gmail.com.
Spectators get in free and DO NOT need to purchase their own ticket.
